Derek stopped by recently to update his acting headshots as he prepares to re-enter the industry after some time away. He brought a variety of outfits, and we also worked with different backgrounds and styles. The result was an assortment of images to pick from that can be used for submissions, auditions, social media, website banners (an often overlooked use for photos from your session), and even professional settings like a second career or for use when applying for a survival job. It is of great benefit to also have a professional appearance on LinkedIn.

At his sessions, we captured a range of looks, including bright, approachable commercial styles, casual everyday outfits, and polished business casual ensembles. After the session, we reviewed the images together so Derek could select his favorites and purchase those images before he left. This in-person selection and payment process is part of the Regular Session, offering the chance to make decisions right away with guidance.

For those who need to consult with an agent or review options privately, the Actor Update Session includes online image selection through a private gallery instead of choosing images at the end of the session. While both options work well, many clients appreciate the value of in-person review—it provides insights, helps uncover unexpected favorites, and ensures each image fits their goals for auditions or platforms. It just depends on what works for you and what your needs are!
